Vuelta a Navarre
The Vuelta Ciclista a Navarra is a Spanish cycling race .
The stage race takes place annually in the Spanish autonomous region of Navarre . The first event took place in 1941 as a professional race. A second event, also for professionals, did not follow until 1955 and then another longer break followed. The tour has been held regularly since 1962, but as an amateur event until 1995. Since the introduction of the UCI Europe Tour in 2005, the tour has been part of this racing series and classified in category 2.2. Since 2009 the race no longer has UCI status.
