Mikel Iturria (born March 16, 1992 in Urnieta ( Basque Country )) is a Spanish cyclist .

Athletic career

Ituria received a contract with the then UCI Continental Team Euskadi Basque Country-Murias from 2015 . After this team received a license as a UCI Professional Continental Team from the season , he contested his first Grand Tour with the Vuelta a España in 2018 , which he finished 103rd. At Vuelta a España 2019 , Iturria won the 11th stage in his home region after he was able to break away from an originally 14 riders breakaway group 20 kilometers from the finish and thus scored his first sideg in an international race.
