Yoshiyuki Abe ( Japanese 阿 部 良 之 Abe Yoshiyuki ; born August 15, 1969 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese cyclist .
Career
Yoshiyuki Abe was active as an elite racing driver from 1996 to 2011. During these years he was four times Japanese champion in the individual time trial and in road racing . In 1997 he was the only Japanese to win the Japan Cup (as of 2016). In 2000 Abe started in the road race of the Olympic Games in Sydney , but could not finish it. In 2003 he won the Tour of China . At the Asian Games in 2006 he won the bronze medal in the team time trial together with Kazuya Okazaki , Satoshi Hirose and Kazuhiro Moridie . He ended his career at the end of the 2011 season.
