Vilnius Police Union

The police union Vilnius (lit. Vilniaus miesto policijos darbuotojų profesinė sąjunga ) is a policeman - union in Lithuanian capital Vilnius . It was founded on January 14, 1999. 53 police officers took part in the inaugural meeting in Žirmūnai . Today the union is a legal entity and has around 1,400 members.

The union is a member of Lietuvos vidaus reikalų sistemos respublikinė profesinė sąjunga , Lietuvos profesinių sąjungų konfederacija and European Confederation of Police (EUROCOP).
