Polyklet (gem cutter)
Polyklet (Greek Πολύκλειτος, Polykleitos) was a Greek gem cutter who probably worked in Rome during the early Roman Empire .
He is known only by his signature on a glass paste (now in Berlin, Antikensammlung ) after a lost Carnelian - Gemme with the presentation of the robbery of the Palladion . Other gems with the signature of Polyklet are modern works.
