Porte Notre Dame

The Porte-Notre-Dame of Château-Chinon is the only remnant of the once massive city wall from the 13th century.

It testifies to the importance of the small town of Château-Chinon at the time, which for a long time saw itself as one of the centers of the Morvan . The city gate today forms the border with the old town of Château-Chinon.
