A presidential suite is usually the largest suite in a luxury hotel . You can have your own butler , a pool, a sauna or even a piano. In most cases, there is also the option of extending the presidential suites with other hotel rooms through connecting doors. For example, staff can be accommodated within easy reach.

The name originally comes from the fact that American presidents are usually accommodated in the largest suite of a house when they are there. For example, the presidential suite of the Hyatt Hotel in Cologne bears the name " John F. Kennedy Presidential Suite".

By far the most expensive German presidential suite is in the Berlin Hotel Adlon . It is protected by special safety devices, including its own elevator and bulletproof windows.
