Presidential election in El Salvador 2019
The 2019 presidential election in El Salvador was won by Nayib Bukele . The 37-year-old from the conservative Gran Alianza por la Unidad Nacional (GANA) ( German Great Alliance of National Unity ) received 53% of the valid votes in the first ballot on February 3, 2019. Bukele was formerly mayor of the capital San Salvador.
Félix Ulloa was elected Vice President .
