Presidential election in Colombia 2014

In the 2014 presidential election in Colombia , incumbent President Juan Manuel Santos was confirmed in office.

He prevailed in a runoff election on June 15, 2014 against Óscar Iván Zuluaga with 50.9% against 45.1% of the vote, after receiving even fewer votes than his opponent in the first round on May 25, 2014. The focus of the election campaign was on dealing with the guerrilla organization FARC-EP .
