In contrast to the V3S, the Praga S5T was designed less for off-road mobility and more as a fast truck. Its top speed was 72 km / h, the gradeability 15%. At around 20 l / 100 km, fuel consumption during operation was considerably more restrained than with the V3S. Later an engine with a displacement of 8100 cm³ was used.
