The Praktica FX is a camera from the manufacturer VEB Kamera-Werke Niedersedlitz from Dresden . It was built from 1951 to 1956 and, depending on the version, has up to three synchro sockets on the left front. The upper socket corresponds to the X contact, the middle socket to the "ground" and the lower socket to the F contact. The Praktica FX corresponds to the Praktiflex FX model except for the changed lettering and is structurally identical to it. The immediate successor model is the FX2 (see photo above).
