presbytery
The presbytery (Greek / Latin council of elders ) is called
- the presbytery (college) , the college of priests of a diocese
- the parish leadership in some Protestant regional churches
- the presbytery (Presbyterianism) , the governing body of an association of parishes in Presbyterian churches
- the choir (architecture) or chancel in churches, which is reserved for the clergy and structurally - e.g. B. by choir barriers - can be separated.
