Primus of Alexandria
Primus († around 118 ) was the fifth bishop of Alexandria in the years 106–118 (other sources: 109–121) . Practically nothing is known about him. During his term of office, the Jewish rebellion in Alexandria against the rule of the Roman emperor Trajan fell , which he had bloodily suppressed in 116 by his governor Marcus Rutilius Lupus.
