Priroda (magazine)

Priroda ( Russian Природа , scientific transliteration Priroda ; "Nature") is a monthly popular scientific journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences , whose publications are devoted to scientific topics. It has been published since January 1912. The content of the older volumes is available online. Alexander Solzhenitsyn's work The Archipelago GULAG begins with a reference to a note from the magazine.
