Pro short

Pro Short is the Swiss Short Film Association, representing the interests of Swiss short films .

Pro Short was founded in January 2017 during the Solothurn Film Festival; Following the Locarno Film Festival 2017, the Board of Directors went public for the first time.

The board is made up of representatives from various professions such as directing, production, programming and acting from different parts of Switzerland.

The association has had its own office since spring 2019, which is endowed with part-time work.

Members

Anyone who is interested in short films or who is interested in short films can become a member; the association is open to members of all professions (namely directing, screenplay, technology, distribution, curation, festival). Companies or institutions can also become members as such (e.g. production companies, film festivals, universities).
