The program next door (subtitle: How to talk in the world ) was an entertainment program on GDR television .

In the program from next door , various contributions from foreign television stations, for example from Tokyo, Warsaw or Prague, were presented to the audience. Most of them were film or music excerpts. The format was moderated by Wolfgang Niederlein. The program next door was broadcast once a month in the evening program, usually on Wednesdays, but in exceptional cases also on Saturdays.
