The proportional behavior - also: P-behavior - (. Engl proportional action) denotes a characteristic of erregbareren neurophysiological structures, to generate the strength of a stimulus proportional response.

In its pure form, the proportional behavior practically does not occur in the biological area, it is always linked to a more or less pronounced D behavior (see differential quotient sensitivity ).
