The 6th Psalm Solomos is a Psalm Solomos from the pseudepigraphic book of the " Psalms Solomos " of the Old Testament of the Bible .

genus

Herman Ludin Jansen describes the psalm as a "kind of hymn of praise to divine retribution". The style of teaching predominates in the psalm.

structure

The psalm can be structured as follows:

  1. Verse 1: Congratulations to those who turn to God
  2. Verse 2f: Description of the beneficial lot of the prayer
  3. Verses 4–5a: The resulting cheerful behavior of the prayer
  4. Verses 5b-6a: Request of the God-fearing one
  5. Verse 6b: End of the Psalm: Brief doxology
