Psalter of Blanka of Castile

The Psalter of Blanka of Castile is a Gothic illuminated manuscript that was produced in Paris around 1230 for Blanka of Castile . It contains a Latin psalter and 27 miniatures and 24 medallions as book decorations. Since 1335 it has been in the possession of the Sainte-Chapelle .

The format of the manuscript is 280 x 200 mm, its scope 192 sheets. It is currently kept in the Paris Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal (Ms. lat. 1186).
