As pseudoradicular symptoms (of Radix = nerve root ) is called non-specific, localized pain in the back, the side periodically broadcast in the arm or leg. The spinal nerve itself is not impaired in its function. In addition to pain and skin sensation disorders, there is usually no loss of strength in the leg or arm.
Pseudoradicular symptoms usually occur with less pronounced diseases of the spine or muscles, for example with facet syndrome or trigger points . The prognosis is significantly better than with direct damage to the nerve roots (radicular symptoms, root compression syndrome ).
