Pseudotumor is a false tumor , a so-called sham tumor . These include B. retention cysts , warts , fibroepithelial hyperplasias , hyperkeratoses , i.e. bulges that occupy space but do not have the characteristics of a tumor in the narrower sense. The exception to this is the clinical picture of pseudotumor cerebri , which is also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension .
