A pu-pu plate is a part of Hawaiian cuisine. It's also found in Sino-American cuisine.

The Hawaiian word pūpū generally describes appetizers, namely fish, chicken or banana, which are served with kava . A Hawaiian pupu plate these days consists mostly of smoked meat, grilled fish and vegetables, as well as teriyaki and sushi. Chinese pupu plates usually consist of egg rolls, wontons , crab chips and chicken wings. In some cases these plates also have a hibachi grill.
