Publibel card

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Publibel cards are Belgian advertising postal stationery as postcards .

They appear for the first time in 1933. The name is derived from an abbreviation of the term Agence Publicité de Belge Postale , this agency brought out the cards. The earliest about 209 cards had no numbering, after that they had an identifying number. Cards according to number 2225 also have letter abbreviations for the language used: N for Dutch, F for French, A for German and bilingual NF for Dutch / French, FN for French / Dutch. By the end of the cards in 1984, over 3000 cards had appeared. The proceeds went to charity.
