Publius Aelius Atticus
Publius Aelius Atticus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .
By a dedicatory inscription , the fort at Longovicium was found and dated to 201/300, there is evidence that Atticus prefect was. According to John Spaul , he was prefect of the Cohors I Lingonum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia .
