Petitmoni ( Jap. プッチモニ , Putchimoni or Pucchimoni ) is a Japanese J-Pop - girl group of Hello! Projects , which performed from 1999 to 2003. After Tanpopo , they were the second offshoot of Hello! Projects, which Morning Musume is a part of.

history

The first generation of the group consisted of the 3 Morning Musume members Sayaka Ichii , Kei Yasuda and Maki Goto . Their first single "Chokotto LOVE" was very successful and sold over 1 million times.

In 2003 the manager of the Hello! Projects Tsunku to redesign the whole group. The new line-up consisted of Hitomi Yoshizawa, Makoto Ogawa (Morning Musume) and Ayaka Kimura (Coconuts Musume). But since the new single "Be Happy Koi no Yajirobee" by the new Tanpopo generation was not selling well, no single was released for this generation of Pucchimoni.
