Pulau Melaka (Malacca Island) is an artificial island off Malacca in Malaysia . The residential development project is located approx. 500 m off the coast and comprises two former islands with 40 ha and 50 ha. The island is connected to the mainland via a bridge on the east side.
The landmark of the new island is the Masjid Selat Melaka mosque (Mosque of the Strait of Malacca).
