Videbæk is a small Danish town in West Jutland . It belongs to the municipality of Ringkøbing-Skjern in the Midtjylland region .

From 1794 to 1970 the place belonged to Ringkøbing Amt , from 1970 to 2007 to Ringkjøbing Amt .

The Videbæk Kirke forms the center of the Parish Videbæk Sogn .

Videbæk was the terminus of the Skjern -Videbæk railway line , which existed from 1920 to 1981. Passenger transport was stopped as early as 1955. The station was retained, as was part of the tracks. From Herborg, 3 km away, you can explore an 11 km long route by rail bike. The preservation is thanks to the voluntary commitment of Foreningen Videbæk-Skjern Veteran- og Modeljernbane .
