Pyrocarbon

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pyrokohle is the generic term for all the means of biomass - pyrolysis prepared coals . Biomass pyrolysis is the thermochemical decomposition of organic substances in the absence of oxygen and at temperatures between 350 ° C and 900 ° C. Torrefication , hydrothermal carbonization and coking are other charring processes, but their end products are not referred to as pyrocarbons. Biochar is a special, certified pyrocarbon, which is characterized by additional ecologically sustainable production, quality and usage conditions.
