QMA Gallery

The QMA Gallery is an art gallery set up in 2010 for special exhibitions in the Katara Museum Village in Doha , the capital of the Emirate of Qatar .

The QMA Gallery is part of the overall project of the Qatar Museums Authority (QMA), which was established in 2005 and is responsible for the majority of the emirate's cultural activities. In addition to the QMA Gallery exhibition space, this includes the two currently existing museums, the Museum of Islamic Art (Doha) and the Arab Museum of Modern Art (Mathaf) , as well as the archaeological excavations in the country and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Al Zubarah fortress .

The cultural center is located north of the capital Doha. It was founded in 2010 and, in addition to the gallery with changing exhibitions, contains an amphitheater with a view of the Persian Gulf, where concerts and events are held.
