The Quadenhof is a building at Gerricusplatz 23 in Düsseldorf- Gerresheim . It was built from 1427 to 1436 for Godert von Broichhusen. The farm was named after the Quad von Raede family, who married it in 1458. The Quadenhof is one of the few secular brick buildings from the late Middle Ages that have survived in the Düsseldorf area.

description

The Quadenhof was built as a defensive aristocratic residence in the late Gothic style. At its core it is a rectangular, three-storey brick defense structure with a steep pitched roof. The east facade is triaxial and has a central gable. A cross-frame window in the shape of the 15th century has been preserved above the entrance. Four more cross-frame windows are on the east side, together with the toilet bay. There is a baroque roof turret on the gable roof.
