Cuboid classifier

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A cuboid classifier is a simple classification method in which the membership in a class is indicated by intervals . Depending on the dimension of the feature space , the classes form lines, rectangles or cuboids. The dividing surfaces can be specified very easily; however, with higher dimensions there is often overlap between the classes, which is one of the disadvantages of classifying using value ranges. The cuboid classifier can also be viewed as a special form of a distance classifier .
