Quarrel

A quarrel (from Latin querela or querella , German: 'complaint, complaint' over French querelle 'quarrel, dispute, dispute' ) is a dispute about a matter of comparatively little importance. The term belongs to the upper level of language is most often used in the plural ( "strife"), and since the 17th century in the German testifies (as Querel or querelle ).

The term is often used for disputes within organizations or their organs (party quarrels, club quarrels, executive quarrels ...), the exact circumstances of which are not known or do not appear to be newsworthy, but which have led to a deterioration in the working atmosphere or further disputes.
