Clearance sale

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A clearance sale is a discounted sale of goods in connection with an evacuation of the shop due to relocation of the headquarters or temporary closure due to a construction project on the one hand and a complete inventory turnover with the addition of a new range on the other.

In Germany, the relevant provisions of the UWG Act apply to clearance sales . There, the clearance sale should not be confused with the sell-off due to the abandonment of the commercial enterprise.
