Revolutions de Paris

Révolutions de Paris, dédiées à la Nation et au district des Petits Augustins (Paris) was a weekly newspaper that appeared from July 12, 1789 to February 28, 1794. It is considered a revolutionary democratic organ and was published by Louis-Marie Prudhomme . Until September 1790 it was edited by the republican Élisée Loustalot (1762-1790).

Other important editors were Sylvain Maréchal , Pierre-Gaspard Chaumette , Fabre d'Églantine and Léger-Félicité Sonthonax .

On February 28, 1794, Prudhomme decided to discontinue his journal. Despite his positive attitude towards the revolution, he was suspected of moderation and decided to keep quiet so as not to risk his life.
