Runway

Runway (Engl. Maneuvering area ) is in the Aviation , the parent term for the runways and taxiways of an airfield . Together with the aprons the maneuvering area forms the movement area ( movement area ).

The taxi control (GND) is responsible for the management of the traffic on the taxiways at a controlled airfield , for the steering on the runways the tower (TWR).
