Römerberg with Linz Castle and Römerberg tunnel

The Römerberg is a hill in downtown Linz . It runs parallel to the Danube from Linz Castle ( called Schlossberg there) in an east-west direction to Freinberg . Its height is about 50 meters above the level of the Danube.

Large parts of the Römerberg are in the Froschberg district . However, the Ostend with the Linz Castle is already in the city center of Linz.
