Rābi'a bint Ka'b

Rābi'a bint Ka'b ( Arabic رابعة بنت كعب, DMG Rābi'a bint Ka'b , also Persian رابعهٔ بلخى, DMG Rābi'ai Balḫī ) was a Persian Samanid princess and poet of Persian literature of the 10th century . Rabia Balchi discussed her forbidden love for a slave. Legends surround her as a person, especially in Afghanistan .

Her mausoleum is located in the northern Afghan city of Balch in the central park not far from the shrine of Khwaja Abu Nasr Parsa .
