RC Kouba
The RC Kouba (Raed Chabab Kouba) is an Algerian football club from Kouba . He plays his home games at the Stade Omar Benhaddad .
The club was founded on January 28, 1945 and had its heyday in the early 80s. While they won the runner-up championship in 1966/67 and 1974/75, in 1980/81 they won the national championship. In the same year they also won the Algerian Supercu against the USM Algiers . Due to the success they were able to qualify for the first time for the African competition, where they only failed in the quarterfinals to Enugu Rangers . The club currently plays in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 2 .
