Raúl Castro (water polo player)

Raúl Castro , full name Raúl M. Castro Nilson , is a retired Uruguayan swimmer and water polo player .

Castro was a member of the Uruguayan squad at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London . At the games in England he was a member of the water polo team and finished with the team in 13th place in the Olympic tournament won by Italy. He also took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1951 Pan American Games in Buenos Aires . There he started swimming.
