Raadvad (Danish Raadvad Knivfabriker English Radvad Cutlery Works Ltd. ) is a Danish manufacturer of cutlery and knives, which is now a regional brand of Fiskars .

history

Raadvad was founded in 1758 and first made knives and later also cutlery. It became known worldwide with the second version of the Raadvad bread slicer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1951 the company became a purveyor to the Danish court . Since the takeover by Fiskars in 1994, the products have mostly been exported under this brand and almost only offered in Denmark as Raadvad . All product designs are from Danish designers. Numerous cutlery came in selections of the Dansk Design Center.
