Framework agreement

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A framework agreement is an agreement with one or more companies that stipulates the conditions for individual orders that are to be awarded in the course of a certain period of time, in particular with regard to the envisaged price and, if applicable, the envisaged quantity.

It is therefore a contract that provides for the retrieval of services or goods for a certain term, the individual price of which is fixed, but the quantity to be ultimately retrieved is still unknown when the contract is concluded. An example here is the procurement of writing paper in a large office for the next three years.
