Raimondas Rašpoliauskas

Raimondas Rašpoliauskas ( Raymist ) is a Lithuanian musician and composer.

Rašpoliauskas was a member of the rock bands Bix , Lygiai lyja and Žuvys , the electronic music group Sweet Energy and the "ritual collective" 7B Orchestra . He composed music for films by Vytautas V. Landsbergis ( Liudvikas , Kai aš buvau partizanas ) and Jurgas Ivanauskaitė ( Šokis dykumoje ), for Landesbergis' music album Sapnas and drama Sapnas . He himself plays various Indian, Indian, Japanese and Lithuanian flutes. In his often meditative compositions, he uses Asian string instruments such as saz , tambour and koto as well as natural noises and synthesizer sounds. The album Szawle was created in 2003 in collaboration with Ryszard Latecki and the SAULE group .
