Rambo: The Video Game is one of Teyon produced and Reef Entertainment published rail shooter for Rambo -Filmtrilogie. From the point of view of the eponymous John J. Rambo, scenes from the three films are played out.

Gameplay

The player does not control the protagonist directly, only his weapon. You shoot at enemies who stand in the player's path or after a certain time run into the field of vision or at objects such as B. a gasoline drum to make it explode. The plot begins with John Rambo's funeral, at which his old commander Colonel Trautman reports on his deeds. The player now plays Rambo's escape from a prison camp in a flashback that does not actually appear in the films. This mission serves as a tutorial . Then you act out the plot of the Rambo films. One fights in Hope (Washington) police and army forces after their own escape from prison, in Vietnam the Viet Cong, who are holding US soldiers, and in Afghanistan, alongside local resistance fighters, Russian soldiers who are holding Colonel Trautman prisoner. The original sound from the movie is used in some cutscenes.
