Raphaël Krikorian

Raphaël Krikorian (born before 1996) is a French mathematician who studies dynamic systems and ergodic theory.

Krikorian received his doctorate in 1996 from Michael Robert Herman at the École Polytechnique (Réductibilité des systèmes produits croisés quasi-périodiques à valeurs dans des groupes compacts).

From 2001 to 2013 he was professor (Chargé de Cours) at the École Polytechnique . He is professor at the Laboratoire de Probabilités et Modèles Aléatoires (LPMA) of the CNRS, the Sorbonne and the University of Paris VII (Denis Diderot).

Krikorian is invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Rio de Janeiro 2018. From 2008 to 2013 he was a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

Krikorian deals, among other things, with KAM theory , Lyapunov exponents , Hamiltonian mechanics and quasi-periodic operators and co-cycles. In 2003 he and Artur Avila solved a problem for the almost periodic Mathieu operator, which was one of Simon's problems .

He is editor of the bulletin and the mémoires of the Societé Mathématique de France.
