The Town Hall of Strzelce (United Strehlitz) is located in the center of the ring.

history

First information about the town hall of Groß Strehlitz comes from the year 1581. On November 24th, 1754 a fire broke out in Groß Strehlitz, during which the town hall was destroyed. It was rebuilt in 1758. The building was partially destroyed in another fire on July 21, 1826 and completely destroyed in another fire on June 18, 1827.

The current town hall building was built between 1844 and 1846 according to plans by the architect Roch. In 1911, during the tenure of Mayor Paul Gundrum, the town hall was partially rebuilt. In 1938 renovation work was carried out in the town hall. In January 1945 the town hall was set on fire by Soviet soldiers and destroyed in the process.

In March 1945 the Polish administration took over the tasks of the city administration for the first time, initially in the city's gasworks as an alternative. The town hall was rebuilt according to old plans and completed in 1960.
