Real-time collaboration

With real-time collaboration (RTC) or Live Collaboration (LC) which is collaboration of at least two persons without delay ( real-time ), respectively. The term is often used in the context of e-learning and audio / video conferencing systems and usually refers to non-natural media. In this sense, RTC enables - in contrast to collaboration via natural media - the time-synchronous collaboration of several people across geographical boundaries.

A term that has also been established for this purpose is Live Online Collaboration (LOC). This is often used in conjunction with RTC over the Internet .
