Reel Island (from English reel , ' spool of thread ' ) is an island with four small lakes off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in the southwest of Amanda Bay .
Australian scientists named them descriptively after their appearance, which is determined by the two opposite bays on the island.
