Reflux
Reflux (from Latin refluxus 'reflux') stands for:
- Gastroesophageal reflux , reflux from the stomach ( gaster ) into the esophagus ( esophagus )
- Hepatojugular reflux , congestion of the superficial jugular vein when pressure is applied to the upper abdomen
- Vesicorenal reflux , unphysiological reflux of urine from the bladder via the ureters into the renal pelvis.

- Reflux (chemistry) , solvent that is distilled off from a reaction vessel and, after condensation, runs back in a cooler
