Directorate (franchising)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A publicly owned enterprise is a location of a franchise , rather than to license brand, which operates a franchisor to other sole proprietors.

As a rule, a location is opened independently in order to expand in regions in which the name of the concept is not yet known or where it takes longer for other reasons before profit can be expected and therefore no licensee can be found. Locations will also be taken over if the previous licensee ceases and no successor can be found for the time being. The aim is to develop or maintain the location lucratively in order to then find a licensee for it.
