The Panemuniai Regional Park ( lit.Panemunių regioninis parkas ) is a regional park in western Lithuania , on the Nemunas River . The area is 11,368 ha. The head office is in Šilinė , in the administrative parish of Skirsnemunė (Pilies - I paštas, LT-74465), in the district parish of Jurbarkas , Šakiai and Kaunas .

The park was chosen because of the Memel landscape, its ecosystem and cultural heritage. The "thickest" fir tree in Lithuania is in the Gelgaudiškis Forest Park (circumference: 104 cm, height 42.6 m). There are 15 castle mounds in the park , about which there are legends. The residential castles are in Raudonė and Vytėnai . Historically and archaeologically with its monuments are Veliuona (mentioned in a document in the 13th century), Seredžius , Gelgaudiškis, Plokščiai , Kriūkai .
